Travels To Tampa, Fla. For NCAA South Regional
The University of West Alabama cross country team will compete
in the 2009 NCAA South Regional on Saturday, Nov. 7, in Tampa,
Fla. The men’s event will get underway at 7 a.m. CST followed
by the women’s meet at 8 a.m. CST.

program-best fifth place finish at the 2009 Gulf South
Conference Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Veterans

University of Mississippi was cancelled due to inclement weather
that came through the Oxford, Miss. area on Saturday. The UWA

season-opening Southern Miss Invitational on Friday. UWA also
took the top-two individual spots in the individual standings.
Junior Jonathan Sellers edged teammate Austin Enriquez to
garner the top spot. The Tiger women turned in a third-place
finish.

Tuscaloosa, Ala. for the Crimson Classic at the Harry Pritchett
Running Park. The 20th annual running of the Crimson
Classic will get underway at 8:45 a.m. with the men’s 8K. The
women’s 5K is slated for 9:15 a.m.
