spring drills on Wednesday afternoon on the Livingston
campus. The Tigers rounded out their 15 days of practice as
mandated by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

spring scrimmage on Saturday, March 1, as the Red Defensive
team defeated the White Offensive team 50-33 at Tiger
Stadium.

Announces 2008 Signing Class The
University of West Alabama football team has announced the
signing of 22 student-athletes for the 2008 football season
Wednesday afternoon. Among the signees are six transfers
and 19 high school seniors ranging from across the southeast
region.

Three New Coaches
Added to UWA Staff
The University of West Alabama Department of Athletics has
announced the hiring of three new football coaches. Will
Hall, Sam Gregg and Desmond Lindsey will all join the 2008
Tiger gridiron staff effective immediately.
