A
familiar face will remain on the West Alabama Men's
Basketball team as longtime Tiger player, Joe Eatmon,
will join Eddie McCarter's staff.
The Tuscaloosa, Ala. native played in 51 games for
UWA, during his two year stint, scoring 357 points in
his career with the Red and White. Eatmon proved to be a
threat from the perimeter for the Tigers, shooting .313
from behind the arc.
Prior to arriving in Livingston,
Eatmon played for Head Coach Chris Trawick at Bevill State Community
College, where he averaged 12 points per game during his career.
Eatmon, a product of Robey Butler at Tuscaloosa Central (Ala.) High School,
helped lead the Falcons
to a 95-26 in his four years. He was named Team MVP and West Alabama Player of
the Year in 2001 while also garnering All-Area recognition and was nominated for
the McDonald's
All-American team. Eatmon is the son of
Angie Eatmon and is receiving a Bachelors of Science in Physical
Education. |
