CASPER,
Wyo. – The University of West Alabama’s
Natasha Parker sits atop the leader board in
the average in breakaway roping at the
Collegiate National Finals Rodeo at the
Casper Events Center. 
Parker,
who claimed the Ozark Region title this
season in breakaway roping, has posted a 9.0
in the average to claim the top spot,
heading into the short round. The senior
from Bay Minette, Ala. is two-tenths of a
point ahead of Sarah Mulholland of the
University of Wyoming.
The CNFR,
which concludes on Saturday, is in its 10th
year in Casper, Wyo. at the Casper Events
Center. The National Intercollegiate Rodeo
Association crowns individual event
champions in saddle bronc riding, bare back
riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer
wrestling, team roping, barrel racing,
breakaway roping, and goat tying. National
team championships are also awarded to both
men's and women's teams. For more
