Tigers Earn GSC Berth With 60-48 win Over Montevallo               For the first time since the 1997-98 season, the University of West Alabama men’s basketball team will compete in the Gulf South Conference Tournament after the Tigers clipped Montevallo, 60-48 on Saturday at UM’s BankTrust Arena. GSC Tourney Hopes On The Line When UWA Visits Montevallo                             With a chance to earn a spot in the Gulf South Conference Tournament for the season-straight year, the University of West Alabama men’s basketball team will battle Montevallo on Saturday for one of the last spots in the field.  Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. at UM’s BankTrust Arena.  The game will be aired on WZNJ 106.5 FM following the women’s tilt.  Live stats will be available at athletics.uwa.edu.
