off is set 5 p.m. at Pruitt Hall on the UWA campus.
The Tigers moved to
8-8 overall on the season with a 67-59 non-conference
win over Concordia of Selma on Wednesday night. UWA
picked up its first GSC win of the season a week ago at
West Georgia. UAH treks into Livingston having won its
first three GSC contests of the early conference slate
after topping Montevallo, 64-61, on Thursday night. The
Chargers (10-5) have wins over West Florida and
previously ranked Valdosta State.

average on the season. The Troy, Ala.-native also leads
the squad in rebounds, pulling down 7.8 boards per
contest. Swanson registered his second double-double in
the last three contests with a 21 point, 14 rebound
performance against Concordia. He was instrumental in
UWA’s 39-point second half outing after heading to the
dressing room knotted at 28 with the Hornets. Swanson
pulled down ten of his 14 rebounds and nine points in
the final period. Junior Brandon Hampton averages 11
points in GSC play after a pair of games.
Saturday’s tilt
with UAH will be the 54th all time between
the two in-state rivals. The Chargers own a 34-19
advantage in the series and has claimed the past two
season series against the Tigers. UWA’s last win over
UAH came in the second match up in the 2005-06 season.
