Tigers to Begin Spring Drills on Monday

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama football team prepares to start its 77^th year of football and third season under Bobby Wallace when the Tigers begin spring drills on Monday, February 18th.

UWA added 25 signees in the 2008 signing class and three new members to the coaching staff during the off-season. The Red and White look to rebound from their 1-9, 2007 campaign with a new open offense. The Tigers will conclude its first week of spring drills with a scrimmage on Saturday.

West Alabama kicks off 2008 with its home opener against Belhaven on Saturday, August 30^th.
