LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The
University of West Alabama football team continued
practices this week to prepare for the season opener
on August 30 against Belhaven College. The Tigers,
which went through two-a-days today, held an
approximate two hour scrimmage this afternoon.
Head Coach Bobby Wallace was
pleased with his team’s intensity this afternoon. “I
thought we looked good today,” Wallace said. “We
need to have more consistency on both sides of the
ball, but I was happy with the way everyone ran
around today to make plays.”
West Alabama continues fall
practices tomorrow, beginning at 7:45 a.m. The Red
and White’s season opener against Belhaven is set
for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff at Tiger Stadium.
