BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The
University of West Alabama football team has announced a
time and date change to its 2007 schedule, as the Tigers
have been selected by the Gulf South Conference for their
second GSC Game of the Week.
UWA, which hosts the University of
Arkansas at Monticello on Thursday, October 25th, in a
GSC Game of the Week, will travel to Henderson State on
Thursday, September 20th for a 7:05 p.m.
kickoff.
This marks the third year of the
GSC Game of the Week and the third time the Tigers and
Reddies have squared off in a televised contest. UWA has
played three times in front of the GSC-TV Live
audience.
West Alabama opens the season on
Thursday, August 30th, at Samford University.
Kickoff at Seibert Stadium is slated for 7:00 p.m. Tickets are
priced at $12.00 for all ages and can be purchased
through the UWA Ticket Office at (205) 652-3784. |
