While in High School he was chosen North-South Football Game, Alabama.-Mississippi All Star Game, 2003 Second Team Birmingham News All Metro-Athlete Defense, Super Prep All Southeast Fullback, and won the Hoover Buc Orange Crush Award for Defense.
