Played 18 games with seven starts for the Red and White … Batted .250 on
the season with seven hits, four runs scored and three RBI … Went
3-for-4 on Feb. 10 vs. Georgia Southwestern with two RBI and one run
scored … Posted a multi hit outing on Mar. 25 against Henderson State,
going 2-for-3.
2007 (Freshman): Saw action in 15 games with three starts last
season … Hit. 111 on the year with two hits in 18 plate appearances,
while driving in two runs and a run scored … Notched one homerun on the
season, coming on February 17 against Southern Arkansas … Went
one-for-one at the plate against Muleriders … Earned his second hit of
the season in a one-for-three performance at the plate against Henderson
State on March 27.
2006: Sat out as a redshirt.
Prep: Played for Head Coach Duane Case at Hernando
(Miss.) High School…Hit .312 with 12 doubles, one triple, two home runs
and 11 RBI as a senior for the Tigers…Helped lead the team to a 52-50
four-year record and was named All-County, Team Captain and Offensive
MVP.
