William Carey on Feb. 13, while pitching 2 1/3 innings … Garnered his
first win on Mar. 4 vs. Arkansas-Monticello in a 9-8 affair, pitched
four innings, allowing three hits and no runs … Was named All-Gulf South
Conference Second Team.

RBIs, 19 runs scored, 16 doubles, three triples, three home runs and 15

appearances, had 92 strikeouts and 14 walks, including nine complete
games and four shutouts...For his career for the Bucks, he finished with
a .365 batting average with 52 RBIs, 45 hits, 35 runs scored, 30
doubles, five triples and five home runs...Pitched in 190 innings, with
257 strikeouts, 23 walks and a 2.00 ERA in 32 appearances...Selected
Second-Team All-County (sophomore and junior seasons), First-Team
All-County and All-Metro (junior)...Earned MVP Pitcher (2005-06), MVP
(2005-06) and hitting award (2006).
